The Roadrunner Chapter of BMWCCA is hosting a club race to be held October 4-5 2008 at Phoenix International Raceway.  The event will be run in conjunction with NASA.  Each entrant will receive two (2) tickets for a catered lunch each day.  Additional lunch tickets can be purchased - please contact Joe Cattaneo directly via email or phone (602-618-6137) if you need additional information.

We have booked a block of 10 rooms at Homewood Suites located at 11450 West Hilton Way (I-10/Avondale Blvd).  Room rates are $149/night.  If you would like to make a reservation, please contact the hotel directly at (623) 882-3315, Group Name:  BMWCCA.

Saturday October 18 through Sunday October 19, 2008:     Sponsoring Chapter: Lone Star Chapter
Eagles Canyon is a new track to the DFW Metroplex area.  Its a 2.5mi long rolling hills course. 40 feet wide with several very fast straights, it has multiple turns suitable for overtaking and should be a great racing course.

This will be a two day race consisting of a sprint race Saturday and a one hour enduro on Sunday. If racers want a different schedule we can accommodate. We are working on a happy hour drive session for Friday.

Entry Fee $295.  All applications post marked Oct 4th or later cost is $345.  All applicants post marked Oct 11th or later cost is $395. CO-DRIVER FEE -$75.

ADDITION:

We will be accepting up to 10 fully licensed, non rookie, local pca racers.  They must be in good standing with pca and not on suspended or probationary status.  No cup cars will be allowed. 

Friday October 24 through Sunday October 26, 2008:     Sponsoring Chapter: Buckeye Chapter
Come join us at the annual Great Pumpkin Race at Mid-Ohio.  This is a club race and driving school weekend.  We have rented the track on Friday as well.

Register for our October event at this BMW Club Racing site and then make payment on www.motorsportreg.com     Then make a copy of the application, a copy of your club racing license, and a copy of your club membership and send to Ken Price at the below address.

The changes submitted ranged from simple enhancements to wording to new classification proposals. While all were considered, not all were recommended for adoption by the RAC or the rules committee.
