Office Nominations

Your Patroon Chapter Board of Directors has been working on rewriting our operations manual.  This has caused us to reflect on the best timing for the election process.  Over the past few years we have held nominations in the late fall, elections in the winter, and installment of officers around February.  We will now be moving elections to where they belong, to the end of each year.  To facilitate this process, members may submit nominations one of three ways:

  • Nominations will have begun at our October business meeting or
  • Submit from the form below
  • Mail in your nomination form found in this quarter’s Halfmoon newsletter.

Nominations will be open from Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 (monthly meeting) to Friday, November 18th, 2016.  The Board of Directors will review nominations and verify their validity.

The slate of nominees and absentee ballots will be distributed through our website and through a PEWAS (email).  Elections will be held from Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 through Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 and will be made available via electronic survey on  Voting will also be held in person at our annual holiday party at the German-American club on Wednesday, December 14th.  The Board of Directors will tally all absentee and live votes after the conclusion of the holiday party.  Members will required to use the BMW CCA member number (or their name if they don’t have their number) when voting.

President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board of Directors

In 2017 we are also looking for individuals to take over the Show N Shine committee and the Newsletter. These two are not elected positions, just volunteer with the approval of the above executive committee.
